Taryn’s experience as a veteran field guide / game ranger (with rifle handling and animal management experience) brings value and a unique stance to the environmental aspects of the Safety Health and Environment (SHE) systems.
In addition to that she has also a certificate in implementation for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 2201 and an associated lead auditor’s certificate in same systems and has completed many disaster management related courses through the Federal Emergency Management Agency in the United States (FEMA).
Taryn has been involved in the emergency services for more than 10 years and has completed various programmes in health and safety management, environmental conservation and management as well as training and facilitation. Taryn is also an Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI) instructor and facilitates in her areas of expertise.
She is registered with the Health Professions Council of Southern Africa (HPCSA), Field Guide Association of Southern Africa (FGASA) and the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM).
